WORST EXPERIENCED I EVER HAD APPLYING FOR A WORK AT DBP Service corporation. (FIRST TIME EVER HAPPENED)
I was trying to apply at Pagibig Fund then thankfully I received a call from Fund but they told me to go at Development Bank of the Philippines Service Corporation or (DBPSC).
At first I went at Pagibig Fund Branch who called me ang gave a referral for DBPSC. After giving referral, I went to DBPSC immediately for exam. It was 10am when I had in DBPSC, a guard gave me a form and filled it up and gave it to HR. I've waited for about 45mins and I thought that day the will give me exam coz I see 2 people inside that is taking exam that time. But when the HR called me up, she gave me a piece of paper where all necessary requirements is listed and need to be bring when I come back nextweek to take the exam. I was disappointed its been 6days (sayang ang time, agency na nga lang pinatatagal pa). To think that I came from province which I took 2-3 hours travel to get at Makati Ave, where DBPSC is located. Take note: It is stated at the form that there is exam fee??? 40.00?? Hmmm.. confusing..
(If you are familiar with LBPSC also an agency, there is no exam fee or any amount to be collected?
Why is it DBPSC collects money when taking an exam??
Well, I have no choice. I went back at the scheduled date and take an exam. I went to the hr and tell them that I'm scheduled to take an exam that day and I gave a slip that they gave me. I haven't sign my signature at the slip. The HR gave it back to me and go outside to fill it up daw and she will called me.. So I went up the lobby, its been 30 mins she didn't call me back while I heard that other applicants are starting to take an exam. So I decided to went inside and give the slip too. HR then again told me to wait outside. After 20mins waiting, guard called me to go inside. During taking up the exam, a lot of noise is disturbing. It is because they have no testing area. They only have a small office where applicants testing exam were at the center of a table in their hallway. We cannot concentrate during the exam, I've been heard them calling phones, talking other office mate, people passing by.. (hayyy)Well, While taking exam, MERRIE which is name of an HR there asked me if I'm done. I said I have only 2 more questions left. So after I'm done, I went her and I'm going to give answer sheet together with questionnaire to tell her I'm done. Guess what?? She screamed and said to me "UPO!!" (Sa loob loob ko, sobra naman to parang bata lang na nagpapaupo) I just smiled at her and sit down with thanks before turning back.
In the first place, sa una pa lang hindi ko na gusto ang ugaling ng HR na un na si Merrie.. In the way she talks at me tinatarayan nya ko. The way she delivered messages, you can feel it na masakit! You know, "fill upon mo sa labas!" "UPO" pwede naman sabihin.. just sit na lang po muna.. She is so unprofessional. I became an HR but hindi ako ganun sa applicants..
Then after exam, she told me to go went home coz she will check pa daw ang exam. Sa loob loob ko, even you called, I will never came back at them.
Well, I was observed all people at DBPSC but I thought they are ok.. I smiled at them, they smiled back. Only that girl Merrie has an attitude.
I decided no to came back even they called. Besides sa PAGIBIG FUND nama talaga ako nagaaply, but then they referred me to DBPSC kasi daw kailangan na dun muna magstart pg contractual pa. To think na I also have a Professional Civil Service Eligibility and I have worked in a government companies for a years. Another reason, bakit palaging pabalik balik pa.. bawat step you're going to them. (Too expensive naman maxado dba)
Thanks and Godbless.
ReplyDeleteHi Sakura..i would just like to give my comment. Before you draft your complaint or any, make sure that your English grammar is correct (kasi nkakahiya..sabi mo pa ngtrabaho ka sa mga govt companies at naging hr ka dn at panghuli eligible kp man dn..pano mo naipasa ung english portion ng exam e mali mali ang grammar mo??tsk tsk...
ReplyDeleteHmmm...medyo conyo at wrong grammar teh. But I get the point. Try to be more patient and be humble. I was under DBPSC for couple of months, until I got hired directly in DTI.
ReplyDeletepwede malaman pocomplete address ngthe dbpsc pls gusto ko sana mag apply sathe kanila.
DeleteAsk ko lang po, gusto ko din sana mag apply sa govt like pagibig or sss po, need po ba mag undergo dyan s dbpsc or pwede po mag direct apply s mga branch? Slmt po
